I have been holding back a name for a boar…ever since we bought LVS back in December of 2015. A name that deserved a special kind of boar and a boar that would represent the name in honor of someone who had helped build this industry.
I had plans to take this name strictly to a Duroc boar and said time and time again, that only a Duroc will get this name. I had also hoped that this Duroc would come from one particular farm.
While at this particular farm one day while looking and shopping for a prospect Duroc and some crossbreds for a client and me, a boar popped up in the end pen of the outdoor runs. He was athletic to his feet and cocked his head high as he came to the gate. I knew right then here he was, the Boar deserving of the name that I held back and held on tightly to.
